OnStage is operated by Daniel James Miller and Derek Jon Barylski, doing business as ThunderPrem ("OnStage," "we," "us," or "our"). Contact: hello@thunderpremlabs.com.

Overview

OnStage helps fans follow live performances, receive setlist updates, revisit past shows, and listen to fan-submitted recordings when supported by the artist and recording source.

You can use most of OnStage without an account. If you choose to sign in with Apple, we collect and store the account information described below so we can provide account-based features, including syncing your account-linked information across your devices.

We do not sell personal information, use your activity for targeted advertising, or use third-party advertising SDKs.

Information OnStage processes

App installation identifier

The app creates a random installation identifier. This helps OnStage remember followed shows and associate them with the same installation without creating a personal account.

This identifier is not intended to identify you personally. It may remain on your device after the app is deleted because it is stored securely in the iOS Keychain.

Accounts and Sign in with Apple

Signing in with Apple is optional. When you sign in, we receive and store an Apple-specific account identifier. Apple may also provide your name and email address the first time you authorize the app. If you choose Apple's Hide My Email option, we receive the relay email address Apple provides instead of your personal email address.

We also store the profile information you choose to provide in OnStage, such as your handle, first and last name, favorite artist, and avatar emoji. We use this information to operate your account and account-linked features; we do not use it for advertising.

Account-linked information and personal notes

When you are signed in, we link your account to the installation identifiers for your devices so account-linked information can work across them. We store hashes of session tokens to authenticate requests; we do not store your Sign in with Apple identity token as an ongoing session credential.

If you create a personal setlist note, we store the note text with your account and the related show and artist identifiers. Personal notes are private to your account and are not displayed publicly by OnStage.

Notification and Live Activity tokens

If you enable notifications or Live Activities, Apple provides OnStage with technical device tokens. We use these tokens to:

These tokens are technical identifiers. They do not give us access to your Apple Account, contacts, messages, photos, or other apps.

Shows and artists you follow

Our servers store the identifiers of the artists and shows associated with an installation or notification token. This allows OnStage to deliver the updates you requested and restore your followed-show experience.

Operational information

Our systems and hosting providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including:

We use this information for security, troubleshooting, service reliability, and aggregate operational reporting—not to build advertising profiles.

Information stored on your device

OnStage may store preferences and product state locally, including:

Deleting the app removes most locally stored data. Information stored in the iOS Keychain may remain after deletion unless the device or Keychain item is reset.

Artist request form

If you choose to submit an artist request, OnStage opens a form provided by Google. Information you enter into that form is submitted voluntarily and is processed using Google's services.

The form may request information such as:

Do not submit sensitive personal information through the form. Google's own privacy terms also apply when you use it.

Information we do not intentionally collect

OnStage does not intentionally collect:

If we add a new category of personal information collection in the future, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure before collecting it.

Third-party services

OnStage relies on third-party services to provide portions of the experience. Depending on the artist or feature, these may include:

When OnStage requests information or media from these services, those providers may receive technical information such as an IP address, request path, timestamp, or user agent. Their respective privacy policies and terms may apply. See Data Attribution and Fan Recordings for more information about the sources and recordings used in OnStage.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to:

We do not share information with data brokers or advertising networks.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to operate OnStage, provide the features you request, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

In general:

Your choices

You can:

For requests about anonymous installation data, we may need your installation identifier or related diagnostic information to locate a server-side record. In some cases, we may be unable to reliably associate a record with you.

Children's privacy

OnStage is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information handled by OnStage. No networked service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as OnStage develops. The date at the top will identify the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
