What these recordings are

Some OnStage shows include recordings made or contributed by fans and tapers. These are generally audience recordings captured from within the venue rather than official commercial releases.

Recording availability varies by artist and show. A recording appearing in OnStage does not mean that OnStage created it, owns it, or can grant permission to reuse it.

How playback works

OnStage does not currently accept direct audio uploads.

When a supported recording is available, OnStage receives recording information and playable links from an external community archive. Audio is streamed from that provider or its hosting service. OnStage may temporarily cache metadata such as:

OnStage does not claim ownership of the underlying composition, performance, recording, artwork, or source metadata.

Artist and taper policies

Fan recording communities depend on the permission and goodwill of artists, venues, tapers, archivists, and listeners.

Recordings should be available only when their distribution is consistent with the applicable artist policy and source archive rules. Permission to listen does not necessarily include permission to:

Users should consult the artist's policy and the source archive's terms before downloading, redistributing, or otherwise reusing any material.

Official releases

OnStage is intended to surface permitted community recordings—not pirated copies of official albums, paid streams, webcasts, or commercial soundboard releases.

If a community recording is later restricted, commercially released, removed by its host, or found to violate an applicable policy, playback may become unavailable without notice.

Recording quality and completeness

Fan recordings are documentary artifacts. They may include:

OnStage does not alter a recording to make it appear official.

Credits

Whenever source information is available, OnStage should preserve meaningful credits supplied by the archive, including taper, transfer, uploader, source, and lineage information.

The detailed recording page at the source provider remains the authoritative location for full credits and provenance.

Rights concerns and takedown requests

Artists, rights holders, tapers, photographers, archivists, and source providers may report material they believe is unauthorized, incorrectly attributed, or otherwise problematic.

Please send the following to rights@thunderpremlabs.com:

We may temporarily disable access while reviewing a credible report. Because OnStage generally streams third-party media, you may also need to contact the archive or hosting provider that controls the original file.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that OnStage can remove material from a third-party service, but we can remove or disable OnStage's link to it when appropriate.

Independence

OnStage is an independent fan-made application. Inclusion of an artist or recording does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or approval by that artist or their representatives.
